Tooth Veneer Production Steps:
first visit
1) Check the diagnosis
Detailed oral examination, selection of appropriate indications, communication with patients, doctors and technicians to develop appropriate treatment plans.
2) Basic treatment: filling, professional cleaning, and eliminating gingival inflammation.
3) Dental preparation of affected teeth
Prepare and adjust the teeth to the specific condition of the patient's teeth
4) Impressions, models, colorimetry
Take the impression with silicone rubberor elastic impression material, directly cast the working model with high-temperature resistant mold material, or cast the working model with super-hard plaster, and then use the working model to replicate the high-temperature resistant mold. The color of the patient's teeth should be considered when comparing colors. The color after restoration should not be too different from the color of the remaining real teeth, otherwise, it will affect the appearance.
5) Temporary fix
Fabrication and assembly, gluing, adjustment and grinding.
second visit
1) The dental veneer is fitted and tried on, using a special adhesive fitting method to remove excess material and keep the edges smooth.
2) Adjust the occlusal relationship. Because the veneer is very thin and the porcelain is very brittle, if the veneer is directly subjected to the occlusal force, it is easy to break the veneer. Beyond the incisal edge of the real teeth, the lower anterior teeth cannot touch the incisal edge of the dental veneer when they protrude.
